CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox have agreed to one-year contracts with infielder Gordon Beckham and outfielder Alejandro De Aza and avoided arbitration with both players. The deals were announced on Friday. Beckham will receive $4.175 million in base salary, while De Aza will receive $4.25 million. Beckham hit .267 with five home runs and 24 RBIs over 103 games last season, his fifth with the White Sox. He owns the second (.9899 in 2012) and third (.9889 in 2011) highest fielding percentages by a second baseman in White Sox history, trailing only Nellie Foxs .9901 mark in 1962.
